Zelcore 8.39.0 Release Notes

Zelcore 8.39.0 (October 2026), named "Tax Export & Kaspa", rebuilds Tax & CSV export, adds Kaspa names, KRC-20 discovery and UTXO consolidation, lets you free FluxNode collateral without a transaction, and adds InstaSwap as a swap provider.

Each item says where it applies: desktop, mobile, or both. Where a docs page explains the feature, the item links to it.

Added

Tax and CSV export

  • Tax & CSV Export (desktop and mobile). One export for every coin. Open it from the Export CSV button on a coin's screen or from Tax & CSV export in the wallet menu. Pick the wallets, coins and period, then save one combined file or one file per coin. An encrypted cache on your device means a repeat export only reads what is new. Deleting an account clears its cache. See Export Transactions for Taxes.
  • Tax tool templates (desktop and mobile). Layouts for Koinly, CoinTracker, CoinLedger, CoinTracking, Blockpit, ZenLedger, TokenTax and eleven more tools, plus neutral and accountant layouts. Save as CSV, XLSX or JSON. See Supported tax tools.
  • Custom mappings and address list (desktop and mobile). Add, reorder and rename columns, and set the date format, timezone, decimal separator and sign convention. You can also export or copy a list of your public addresses for tax tools that sync by address. The list never contains keys. See Custom Mappings.
  • Zelcore+ for tax export. Zelcore classic and Koinly layouts are free. Other tax-tool layouts, fiat values and custom column mappings need Zelcore+, on desktop, mobile and the browser extension.

Kaspa

  • Kaspa names (desktop and mobile). Send KAS or KRC-20 tokens to a KNS name such as alice.kas. The resolved address shows under the name, and Send stays disabled until it resolves. See Who you can send to and the Kaspa walkthrough.
  • KRC-20 tokens (desktop and mobile). Tokens your wallet holds are listed under Imported Kaspa Tokens in Add Assets. They are not added to your portfolio on their own, because anyone can send a token to any address. Verify shows a token's logo, decimals, supply and minting state before you import it. The KAS and token screens also find interrupted transfers and let you complete them.
  • Kaspa tools (desktop and mobile). With more than 80 UTXOs, the KAS screen offers Consolidate UTXOs and shows the merge count and total fee before signing. Load More fetches older transactions. Incoming payments show within seconds while a Kaspa or KRC-20 screen is open. Sign Message works with Kaspa addresses. See the UTXO consolidation guide.
  • Kaspa on Ledger (desktop only). Import a Kaspa address from a Ledger device (desktop) and send KAS. KRC-20 tokens on Ledger (desktop) are not supported yet. See Ledger and Trezor on Zelcore Desktop.
  • KCC tokens (desktop and mobile). Kaspa covenant tokens (KRON and KCC-20) at your address are found and shown with balance, supply and history. They are view-only for now, so sending is not supported yet.
  • iKAS to KAS (desktop and mobile). The Igra bridge can move iKAS back to KAS. The iKAS is burned on Igra, and the KAS typically arrives within 48 to 72 hours. Limits and fees are read live from the bridge. See the Igra bridge walkthrough.

Swaps and Fusion

  • InstaSwap (desktop and mobile). InstaSwap is now a swap provider, in three forms: InstaSwap routes your swap through decentralized exchanges, InstaSwap Private makes the deposit and payout impossible to link on-chain, and InstaSwap ZK settles through a zero-knowledge shielded pool. See Swap Crypto in Zelcore: Fees, Rates and Limits.
  • Swap badges (desktop and mobile). Swap offers can show DEX, Private and ZK badges, with a legend that explains each. A ZK swap can take more than an hour. See Provider badges.
  • Flux on Ergo to Flux main chain (desktop and mobile). In Fusion, FLUX-ERG holders at Ergo block 1,878,291 can claim 1:1 to a Flux address with the new migration option, with no fee. Existing snapshot and mining claims now pay out on the Flux main chain, to one of your Flux wallets. See the Fusion bridge guide, Claiming Parallel Assets and the Fusion FAQ.

Apps

  • CumulusVPN (desktop and mobile). CumulusVPN joins FluxDrive and the other Flux network apps in Apps. It opens the CumulusVPN website on desktop and the App Store or Google Play listing on mobile. See the Apps FAQ.

Changed

  • Export accuracy (desktop and mobile). The export now reads each address's history to the end. Fees are counted for the wallet that paid them. Failed transactions keep their fee and show no amount. Contract calls, internal transfers and both sides of a swap are written out. Rows Zelcore cannot price or classify are flagged, never dropped and never valued at 0. Cosmos Hub, Osmosis, Cardano, Sui and BNB Beacon Chain can now be exported. See Reading the Result.
  • Export layout (desktop and mobile). The Zelcore classic layout has new columns, fees are rows of their own, and a transfer between your own addresses shows only its fee. Retired coins such as Fantom Opera and VeriBlock have no history source left and cannot be exported. Their coin screen says why.
  • Delete a FluxNode and free its collateral (desktop and mobile). The collateral is free at once, with no transaction, and the node stays deleted after restarts and logins. Unspent collateral is listed under Available to lock, with a Lock button. See the FluxNode installation guide and Flux node status troubleshooting.
  • New node map (desktop and mobile). The Fluxnodes and Firo maps are rebuilt, follow the night or light theme and zoom smoothly. Click a country to filter, and use Only my nodes to see just yours. See the FluxNodes FAQ.
  • Kaspa sends (desktop and mobile). The fee shown is the fee charged. A send with an unclear outcome is checked before the app reports it, so you are not led to pay twice. A mistyped or wrong-network address is flagged as you type. KRC-20 transfers pause while the Kasplex indexer is down and resume when it is back. See the Kaspa walkthrough.
  • Hardware wallets (desktop only). Hardware Wallet appears in the import menu without the Experimental label. Trezor (desktop) still needs experimental features turned on. Actions a hardware wallet cannot sign are hidden or refused with a clear message. See Ledger and Trezor on Zelcore Desktop.
  • Lighter startup (desktop only). Zelcore loads less code at launch. Code for Veil, Polkadot, Monero, Cardano and Ergo loads the first time you use those chains. See Monero (XMR) in Zelcore.
  • Translations (desktop and mobile). All 18 languages cover every screen again.

Fixed

  • Ledger sends (desktop only). Since 8.38.0, a Ledger (desktop) send could show "Unknown error" while the device was still waiting for your approval, or get stuck on "Loading device…". Sends now wait for the device. See Send from a hardware wallet.
  • d2FA PIN before swapping (desktop and mobile). Swap Now and the Fusion deposit ask for your d2FA PIN before signing, like Send, if d2FA is enabled. See Set Up d2FA in Zelcore.
  • Cardano token sends (desktop and mobile). A token send from a wallet holding other tokens could be refused by the network, and leftover tokens could be left out. Leftover tokens now come back as change. On mobile, Max ADA from a wallet that holds tokens now works. See the blockchain-specific FAQ.
  • Kaspa sends (mobile only). A send that would leave a small change, about 0.15 to 0.4 KAS, was refused with "change too small". It now goes through. Max on a KRC-20 token sends the whole token balance.
  • Kaspa history (desktop and mobile). Transactions the network never accepted showed as successful. They now show as pending or failed. KRC-20 token screens now list transfers, mints and marketplace trades.
  • Igra bridge whole balance (desktop and mobile). An amount equal to your whole KAS balance was accepted, and the bridge then failed with a generic error. On desktop, the form keeps 0.05 KAS back for the fee. On mobile, the bridge shows the network fee and Max sends your balance minus that fee. See the Igra bridge walkthrough.
  • Deleting an account (desktop only). Deleting an account while a full node was running only logged you out. It is now deleted once the node stops. If the node cannot be stopped, the account is kept and an error is shown. See the account access FAQ.
  • Polkadot, Kusama and Beldex (desktop and mobile). Polkadot and Kusama history failed to load with "Error while obtaining Polkadot transactions". It loads again. OpenAlias names that point to a Beldex integrated address or subaddress now validate.
  • Payments and saving (desktop and mobile). Starting a second payment while the "Transaction Sent!" window was open left an empty send form. It now fills the form. A change made within 10 seconds of an earlier save could be lost. It is now saved.
  • Ergo and Flux on Ergo claims (desktop and mobile). A private key that did not match the Ergo address is now refused at step two of a claim, instead of failing on send. A pending Ergo token consolidation is now remembered if you close the app. See Claiming Parallel Assets.
  • FluxDrive payments (desktop and mobile). A payment sent in the last 2 hours is now picked up again after you reopen the plans window, and the window waits for it to be credited.
  • Node map filters (desktop and mobile). The tier filter on the Fluxnodes map now works, and your own nodes are no longer missed when their saved IP had no port.
  • Earn tables, switches and dropdowns (desktop and mobile). The Actions column in the positions table stays visible on narrow screens, so unstake, withdraw and redeem can be reached. Some switches no longer have a second knob drawn over them.
  • Horizen (desktop and mobile). ZEN balance and history load again from Horizen's legacy explorer. Horizen's mainchain stopped at block 1,807,300 when ZEN moved to Base, so Send is now disabled for mainchain ZEN. ZEN on Base is listed as Horizen BASE Token.
  • General stability, performance and interface fixes.
